thanks giving coupons

thanks giving coupons

As a teacher in a kindergarten class, I constantly challenge myself to come up with ways so that my students do not get bored. Most children, after all, have such a short attention span; their hands are restless, and their imagination, boundless. It’s my duty as a teacher to make learning and education exciting for them. Luckily, I found a website that offers coupon codes for arts and crafts.

Why arts and crafts? Well, case studies have shown that learners –which all of us are, no matter our age– benefit a lot from it. It’s where we can find inspiration and apply our imagination. This holds true especially for children, who, in their formative years, will learn a lot from creative play; it helps them understand what it takes and how it feels to concentrate and dedicate themselves to a task. Notwithstanding the mess, arts and crafts stimulate the mind as much as anything we ever write on the chalkboard.

With this in mind, I went through a list of websites on the Internet that sold art supply sources for all kinds of people: for students, artists, teachers, craftsmen, creative idlers, even for those who are simply bored. And from there I got an idea of what I might be able to bring with me in class. Armed with coupon codes, I went on an online arts and crafts shopping spree.

From DickBlick.com, I bought several ribbon-bound photo albums and spiral scrapbooks. I’ve decided that if I wanted to encourage my students to be expressive, creative, and discerning of what might be going on at the early stages of their lives, then scrapbooking was the way to go. Also, it’s a good way for them to preserve such precious memories.

I also purchased sets of drawing and illustration tools, which include colored pencils, erasers, markers, pastels, rulers, and drawing paper. And, because I had used coupon codes in my transaction, the products were shipped to me for free – with an instructional video included on the rudiments of drawing and sketching. I am sure that with these materials, my students will be kept busy for hours – and that they will find it therapeutic and relaxing. I tried drawing myself and the stress I’ve been experiencing simply went away!

I am also now thinking about buying clay and modeling materials – so that students can find out what it’s like to have a “hands-on” learning experience. I mean that literally. Armed with air-drying, self-hardening clay, the children are bound to make a mess. But this activity also promises a truly exciting opportunity for them to shape their minds and showcase their ingenuity. Who knows? Whatever they come up with, maybe they will be glad to bring it at home for display or make hard-earned money by selling it in the upcoming school fair.

Funny, how my passion for teaching young boys and girls has inspired my own creativity. I haven’t spent a fortune at all in buying these arts and crafts materials. Thanks to coupon codes, freedom of expression has become affordable for and accessible to everyone – including people like me, who only wish to promote it.
